Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Born in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996. Her professional name is Aurora. The name of her can be also stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well welcomed by blogs about music. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was made for an advertisement of John Lewis, and Nature Boy is an Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. The endorsement earned her some recognition. Make it a special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering an old grand piano hidden in the attic. She was fascinated by its capabilities. Parents May-Britt along with Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to study music, not for a career or hobby but to grow. Her parents advised her to compose. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her most favored composers. Her mother was supportive of her performing her songs in public, not in order to gain fame but rather in order to show others the importance of their work and how they can make a difference for the world. The mother of her child suggested that she sing her songs in public so that people can see their importance and the ways they could impact the world. It wasn't until her 14th birthday that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora was not a dream of her childhood. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. For her, the songs she creates are her way of feeling everything.
